Responsibilities
Maintain proper maintenance of tenant files and computer records to ensure accuracy according to HUD and LIHTC regulations. This includes renewing of contracts for Section 8 participants, including interims and re-certification/review of income and household composition
Determination of eligibility for all new admissions in compliance with all financing programs
Monitoring of EIV master binders for compliance with federal regulations and requirements
Review all inspections/audits and assist with corrections and correspondence
Monitoring of re-certification notification letters in compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulations
Attendance at supervision meetings and departmental meetings as scheduled
Participate in all required company training requirements
Respond to inquiries, phone calls, correspondence, and email in a timely and responsive manner
Provide and coordinate training for site staff
Knowledge of PBS8 and HCV in addition to the HUD and LIHTC
Remain familiar with current U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ever changing Federal Regulations as they relate to LIHTC and Section 8 Housing programs
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years affordable housing compliance experience
Must be able to prioritize and manage a wide variety of tasks
Ability to work well under stressful conditions
Must be prompt and dependable
Strong computer literacy skills are essential to this position
Working knowledge of LIHTC and HUD programs required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Able to work with minimum day to day supervision
Must be able to travel as needed
Preferred
Affordable Housing Certifications a plus
