Sr. Technical Program Manager, Operations
Tesla is looking for a highly-motivated Sr. Technical Program Manager to optimize and grow their total manufacturing process of cutting-edge Energy Products at Gigafactory Nevada. The role involves developing optimization plans, driving accountability for project milestones, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to support production and engineering efforts.

Responsibilities
Developing “the plan” with regards to optimizing factory and product line performance, including but not limited to performance optimization, capacity expansion, new line ramp into full production, etc
Drive accountability regarding project & program milestones, key initiatives, and project success criteria
Coordinate with variety of cross-functional stakeholders: production operations, engineering functions, finance & accounting, material & production planning units, design teams, etc
Distill many inputs to deliver world-class decision support for senior leaders and executives
Be a member of an integrated Industrial Engineering & Technical Program Manager work unit supporting a product or program (examples: Powerwall 3, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6 years experience in mix of engineering and Project Management fields with evidence of exceptional ability managing multiple complex programs/projects simultaneously
Track record of excellence in current and prior roles, demonstrable with metrics or KPIs
Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, presentation, summarization, etc
Exemplary people, organizational, project management, and escalation skills
Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
Preferred
Degree in STEM or relevant field
Equivalent scale manufacturing experience
