HVAC Sales Consultant

As an HVAC Sales Consultant, you will work with a dynamic team to meet sales metrics, develop client relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.

Responsibilities

Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services
Develop key client relationships, negotiating and closing deals
Follow all sales processes and material ordering processes and work with install so they have a full understanding of how to install what they sold
Create sales proposals that are accurate and complete, that can be easily transferred to the installation team
Work together with the installation team to provide the client with the '100% Satisfaction Guarantee' experience as promised
Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
Understand financing options available to customers so you can provide the best financing option and complete the application process with the customer
Create confident buyers by providing complete and accurate information about our products and pricing
Get potential customers excited about Arlinghaus Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning and encourage them to spread the word
Become an expert of your market area which means monitoring competitors, market conditions, product development, and customer needs
Help set aggressive sales plans, propose expansions, and provide input on action plans and strategies
Participate in sales, company and community events and product training
Generate his/her own leads by sourcing and developing client referrals and create business opportunities for the plumbing and electric departments
Work with marketing to develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
On-going training on expected closure rates
Minimum acceptable standards are 50% of all leads ran
On-going training for 60 days if minimum acceptable standard is achieved, after 60 days a determination will be made by management

Required

Proven track record in sales
Financial acumen including the ability to determine if a job is profitable and what operational activities affect positive or negative results
IT competent, previous experience with Microsoft Office and the latest sales applications
Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
Strong verbal and written communications
Good presentation and public-speaking skills
Familiar with local codes and can speak to company product lines
Outgoing personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
Highly motivated, flexible and great attitude on life
Must work with a team and independently and be self-motivated
