The Indirect Tax Director will lead the indirect tax function, implementing tax incentives strategy and managing compliance and reporting for data center investments in the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

Work closely with our Public Policy and Site Selection teams to identify, develop and negotiate indirect tax incentives for new data center developments

Serve as STACK’s technical resource for all indirect tax issues

Work with our Investment and Construction Finance teams to budget and model indirect tax assumptions into underwriting models

Work with our legal team on indirect tax provisions in customer or vendor agreements

Manage complex sales & use tax incentive programs, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and complete reporting

Improve existing processes and support STACK’S procurement function to ensure use tax compliance and proper application of sales tax incentives

Manage all indirect tax compliance (US & Canada), tax audits and incentive process and reporting

Monitor indirect tax landscape and legislative changes in markets where STACK operates
