They are seeking a Principal Water/Wastewater Conveyance Engineer to lead a team and manage projects focused on water/wastewater conveyance design and construction support services, while also engaging in client development activities.

Responsibilities
Manage a diverse portfolio of projects for various clients across the region, coordinating multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver outstanding results
Oversee project budgets and delivery schedules, leading project teams to ensure all deliverables are met, and providing technical leadership throughout the planning, design, and construction phases of water and wastewater, distribution and collection systems, lift stations and pumping stations
Prepare construction documents, develop specifications, and manage construction oversight and administration
Play a key role in client development activities, supporting positioning and capture strategies, and contributing to proposal and presentation efforts for Water/Wastewater Conveyance Design projects
Collaborate with Area Leaders and client Account Leaders to define project scopes and fee estimates, manage risks, identify project staff, and ensure projects are set up for successful and profitable delivery
Coordinate with Arcadis’ industry-leading technical advisors in water and wastewater hydraulic modeling and facility design, and contribute to strategic planning with clients for water/wastewater treatment plants, stormwater systems, distribution and collection systems, and pump/lift stations
Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, support the work of others, and ensure compliance with all Arcadis practices, quality, and safety standards
Local travel of up to 10% is required for project site visits, client meetings, and business development activities
Qualification
Required
12 or more years of related industry experience in the water/wastewater field
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field
PE License in Texas (or ability to obtain TX PE within 6 months)
Preferred
20+ years of related industry experience
Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field
