Metrology and Photonics Engineer

Responsibilities
Operate high-fluence/DUV laser systems and inspection/metrology equipment while handling multiple vendor interactions and internal/external design reviews
Proficiency in commercial Diffractive and Metalens fabrication techniques and coherent wave propagation optics design theory to specify, review, and validate using simulations and measurement tools, the expected and actual behavior of DUV DOE/MOE based optical systems
Understanding of other photonics component theory of operation such as laser beam profilers and wavefront sensors, PMTs and CCDs
Demonstrate track record of successful completion of internal project milestones and deliverables on time and with limited supervision
Ability to track project milestones and deliverables is a must
Knowledge of optical fabrication, metrology, assembly and alignment techniques and protocols is highly desirable
Ability to travel both in US and abroad is required but will not compose the major proportion of this job’s function or priority
Qualification
Required
Experience in the laser photonics, optical engineering, or optical metrology fields
Skills to operate high-fluence/DUV laser systems and inspection/metrology equipment
Ability to handle multiple vendor interactions and internal/external design reviews
Proficiency in commercial Diffractive and Metalens fabrication techniques
Understanding of coherent wave propagation optics design theory to specify, review, and validate using simulations and measurement tools
Understanding of other photonics component theory of operation such as laser beam profilers and wavefront sensors, PMTs and CCDs
Demonstrated track record of successful completion of internal project milestones and deliverables on time and with limited supervision
Ability to track project milestones and deliverables
Ability to travel both in US and abroad
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
Preferred
Knowledge of optical fabrication, metrology, assembly and alignment techniques and protocols is highly desirable
