The Senior Mechanical/Process Piping Designer will be responsible for the design of process and mechanical piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and practices.

Responsibilities
Generation of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Preparation of 3D modeling of equipment and piping systems
Development of detailed isometric drawings from the 3D model and equipment layout drawings
Field walk-downs as required to identify existing conditions and tie-in points
Utilize Plant 3D, AutoCAD and CADWorx to design engineering drawings
Generate process, mechanical and piping deliverables, taking direction from the project engineer, lead engineer, or lead designer
Responsible for generating designs to meet exacting technical standards and meeting expectations for attendance and punctuality
Qualification
Required
Eight (8) years of experience related experience in piping design and plant layout
AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Plant 3D proficiency
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design teams, taking direction from other disciplines and project leaders
Experience in process piping design
Experience in design of wet and dry material handling and processing systems
Knowledge or experience in the use of national standards including ASME B31.3
Competence in MS Excel, MS Word, Bluebeam, and Navisworks
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred
Technical degree or Certification in drafting or piping design
Experience in hygienic/sanitary piping design
CADWorx Database experience creating intelligent P&IDs, models and components
Proficiency using Revit and/or Navisworks Simulate software is a plus
Local candidates preferred
