Westrock Coffee Company is seeking an FSQA Technician II who will perform quality control checks on materials and products during the production cycle to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. This role includes additional responsibilities of acting as the FSQA Lead in their absence and providing technical training to new technicians.

Responsibilities

Follow all Westrock policies & procedures, including the requirements of the Food Safety & Quality Management System

Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are followed by all personnel

Perform in-line inspections on work-in-progress (WIP) and finished products to ensure compliance to defined specifications, including color, % moisture, density, grind analysis, weights, packaging date codes, packaging integrity, brewing performance and others as defined

Perform inspections throughout the process to evaluate work performed by production associates and ensure compliance to quality standards

Complete in-line Supersack release/approvals

Inspect raw materials or components involved in the production process for suitable quality

Accurately enter test results into a quality database

Identify and segregate nonconforming goods when required

Conduct relevant testing of products on hold when required

Perform general daily housekeeping in work area to maintain a clean & safe GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliant working environment

Provide technical training and onboarding to new FSQA Technician I's as needed

Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed and performing other duties as requested by management

Serve as back-up to Lead Technician as required

Conduct confirmation testing of Supersacks -- particle & color analysis

Confirm final pallet counts from each line at the end of shift

Lead sensory evaluations

Collect any 3rd party or retain samples as required

Complete all equipment calibration and verification activities

Complete Return Product evaluations as required
