Senior Mission Engineer (Naval Combat Systems) (8622)
Patricio Enterprises, Inc. is looking to fill a Senior Mission Engineer position to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division. The role involves providing system engineering expertise for combat system operations, analyzing mission needs, and supporting the integration of advanced capabilities into naval combat systems.

Responsibilities
Apply mission engineering practices to understand current mission and systems-of-systems operational gaps mission needs and issues
Provide system engineering expertise to the Government in evaluating Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership & Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF) (materiel and non-materiel) solutions to mitigate current mission needs and operational gaps engineering (e.g., requirements and architecture definition and evaluation) support for the introduction of Artificial Intelligence based capabilities into the combat system
Apply operational knowledge and context to assist in the definition of mission requirements and capabilities for the future surface Navy (e.g. Frigate, Future Surface Combatant)
Provide system engineering expertise to the Government during the development of multi-platform scenarios for assessing and evaluating Allied/Joint/Navy mission operations
Provide system engineering expertise to the Government’s development of Mission Threads and alignment with Test & Evaluation (T&E) execution
Provide system engineering expertise to the Government’s architecture development for Fleet exercises, including development of planned and as-executed mission architectures, development of test and collection plans, and participating in campaign and mission analysis
Provide system engineering expertise to the Government’s development of CONEMPs and mission scenarios to support combat system requirements definition, system development, and Test & Evaluation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, or four (4) years of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise
Ten (10) years experience with emphasis in one or more of the following: Combat Systems Cyber Security, Ships Self Defense System, Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) class, AEGIS Integrated Combat Systems, DDG-1000 Zumwalt class destroyer, Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense and Weapon/Sensor Combat Systems to conduct and coordinate individual projects
Experience coordinating development activities associated with engineering systems, capabilities, and activities as well as conducting detailed and complex system engineering independently to include demonstrated experience in functional and system level requirements analysis, requirements generation and technical community review
Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information
Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing
Ability to work with large amounts of data
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
