Responsibilities

Under supervision, perform inspection tasks to determine conformity of detail parts, subassemblies, assemblies/deliverables, and purchased materials in accordance with customer requirements
Candidate must have good attention to detail, as well as organization and communication skills
Must be able to function as a Team Member and support team goals and objectives
Must maintain a neat, organized work area and practice good housekeeping
Must adhere to all safety and department procedures, practices, and directives

Required

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate)
Ability to follow written and verbal directions
Ability to perform basic math computations
General knowledge of hand tools
Ability to read and understand work instructions and manufacturing specifications
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
Must be a US person
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear proper PPE
Ability to transport objects up to 35 pounds as well as consistently stoop, crawl, bend, crouch, climb and kneel
Must be able to work all shifts (First or Second) as needed
Work onsite in Bridgeport, WV

Preferred

Experience using precision measuring equipment
Comfortable with using the current ERP system (SAP)
Basic understanding of blueprints, drawings and 3D modeling, such as use of CATIA
Quality and/or aerospace experience
