Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for Homeowners insurance, from ideation to market launch
Collaborate with technology, QA, compliance, actuarial, and underwriting to ensure successful and accurate product implementation
Partner with senior leadership to define the product vision and ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives
Own and manage the profit & loss for a carrier’s product line, including setting revenue, expense, and margin targets
Drive innovation in product management, including development of new coverage ideas, product structures, and customer-centric features
Serve as a highly technical product leader, improving rating, underwriting, and system workflows to increase efficiency, scalability, and automation
Ensure all product initiatives comply with insurance regulations and proactively address changes in the regulatory landscape
Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including carrier partners, reinsurers, and regulatory bodies
Prepare and present detailed reports and updates to senior management and other key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach
Strong systems thinking and technical implementation experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Mathematics or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of product management experience within the insurance industry
Deep expertise in the Homeowners insurance market and regulatory environment
Demonstrated success managing insurance products from concept to market
Experience presenting to large audiences, senior executives, and industry professionals
Experience managing a portfolio to targeted PML to premium ratios, loss ratios or any other internal targets
Experience evaluating reinsurance towers to support the overall profitability of the product and company
Hands-on experience with insurance systems implementation and UAT processes
Preferred
MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus
