Sales Growth Manager and Team Lead (Digital Marketing & Services for Nonprofits)
Project World Impact (PWI) is a digital marketing agency dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations and mission-driven businesses achieve their goals through digital marketing solutions. The Sales Growth Manager and Team Lead will be responsible for building and leading the sales department from scratch, directly selling to nonprofit prospects, and designing scalable systems and processes for the sales team.

Responsibilities
Own the creation of PWI’s first fully structured Sales Department
Sell directly to nonprofit prospects (warm inbound leads)
Design systems that scale (people, process, reporting, training, KPIs)
Hire and lead the future sales team (closers + outreach reps)
Build every core function of the sales organization, including: End-to-end processes, workflows, and SOPs
CRM structure, optimization, and reporting
Training systems, onboarding materials, and scripts
KPI models, dashboards, compensation alignment, and forecasting
Follow-up cadence frameworks, demo flow, and qualification standards
Work directly with the CEO to design department infrastructure, growth objectives, and long-term scale strategy
Partner with HR to hire, onboard, and train the sales team as the department grows
Provide consistent coaching, training, and clear performance expectations
Lead call reviews, pipeline reviews, and weekly check-ins to ensure follow-up discipline, closing consistency, and KPI accountability
Conduct discovery calls and demos with nonprofit leaders
Present digital marketing services, the Google Ad Grant, and PWI tools
Move prospects from interest → clarity → decision
Qualification
Required
Full-time, in-office, Saint Charles, IL (not remote or hybrid)
3–5 years of sales experience
1–3 years in leadership, coaching, or department-building
Proven ability to create, not just follow, processes and playbooks
Confident leading while simultaneously selling in early stages
Experience with CRM, KPIs, pipeline management, and reporting
Strong communicator, trainer, and systems thinker
