Responsibilities
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for painting robots, application technology (e.g., ESTA, flame treatment), and visualization systems
Develop and refine preventive maintenance procedures and intervals
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance to reduce downtime and defects
Collaborate with suppliers and technical supervisors on paint materials and chemical performance
Provide on-shift support to resolve process irregularities
Verify and approve cleaning protocols and delivery notes
Ensure all activities meet internal standards, health, safety, and environmental requirements
Coordinate with chemical suppliers to ensure consistent paint performance
Regularly communicate with supervisors regarding breakdowns, downtime, and corrective actions
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Technical/Mechanical Certification and/or classes
7+ years of experience working with robots
Work Autonomously
Strong Computer Skills
Knowledge of Paint Process and Paint Chemistry
English language skills
Preferred
Durr Robot Experience Preferred
