Responsibilities

Install, program, test, or repair electronic systems, devices, and related equipment, following system design and building plans

Trouble shoot systems to identify problems and make necessary repairs to restore proper functionality

Test systems and individual components, programming, and all system design features in order to ensure proper operation

Install cables in wire trays, through hooks or hangers, and in wall cavities, attics, and crawl spaces, and terminate at devices and panels

Read, understand, and follow wiring diagrams, system specifications, and programming and installation manuals

Properly complete required paperwork and documentation including work orders, records of completion, and test and inspection forms

Demonstrate systems for customers and advise on system operation and alarm procedures

Project a Customer Service image through competent service procedures, professional personal presentation, and communication with all customers

Required

Valid current driver's license and clean driving record

Basic networking knowledge including ability to install and configure residential grade network routers

Knowledge of basic electronics and electrical theory and ability to use a multi-meter

Frequent standing, stooping, crawling, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing and working overhead

Must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen

Preferred
