Mid LevelApetan Consulting llc is seeking an EDI Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test cases for healthcare EDI transactions. The role involves designing test automation frameworks and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards while collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot and optimize EDI workflows.

Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for a wide range of EDI transactions, including 837, 820, 835, 270/271, 277U, and NCPDP
Design and build test automation frameworks leveraging Python, C#, and VBScript
Validate EDI data mappings, transformations, and business rules within ITX and Edifecs environments
Ensure all EDI processes and test outputs align with HIPAA compliance standards
Collaborate with development, QA, and integration teams to troubleshoot EDI issues and optimize workflows
Document test results, defects, and requirements traceability to support overall quality assurance
Qualification
Required
Extensive hands-on experience with healthcare EDI transactions: 837, 820, 835, 270/271, 277U, NCPDP
Strong working knowledge of ITX, Edifecs, and HIPAA regulatory compliance
Proficiency in Python, C#, and VBScript for test automation development
Ability to analyze complex EDI files and troubleshoot mapping, transformation, and compliance issues
Preferred
Background in building automated testing frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
