Tanner Health is seeking a Network Engineer III to be a part of their Information Systems department. The role involves assisting with the setup and troubleshooting of networking equipment and monitoring wireless equipment as part of day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

To participate as a team member of the Information Systems department, participating in the day-to-day operations of the office

This individual will assist in the setup and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and all applicable networking equipment

In addition this individual will monitor and maintain all 802.11 wireless equipment as well as all subsidiary equipment

This team member will also perform all other duties as assigned

Required

Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework

Five years of related experience

Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures

NETWORK+ CERTIFICATION

Minimum 5 years experience required in support and design of LAN WAN

In-depth knowledge of VLAN's, layer 2 and layer 3 switching, and routing protocols

5 years experience with firewalls, routers, switches, security auditing, VPNs, remote access, and overall network design

Excellent Organizational Skills

Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with the Architecture Committee and Security Architect on all design reviews and approvals

Preferred

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) strongly preferred

Other relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent) considered a plus

Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or higher may be accepted in lieu of equivalent experience or formal education, at the discretion of management
