Responsibilities

Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for exempt and corporate positions across multiple business units
Partner with Hiring Managers to create job descriptions, align on role requirements, and maintain accurate records of candidate activity and hiring progress
Conduct thorough candidate pre-screens, evaluating resumes, experience, and competencies against position requirements
Develop and present prescreening questions and evaluation criteria for Hiring Manager alignment
Serve as a strategic partner and key point of contact for the FreshDirect Recruiting team
Leverage advanced sourcing methods to identify active and passive talent, including cold outreach, job boards, networking, college partnerships, and career fairs
Manage job postings across appropriate channels, ensuring targeted distribution and maximizing candidate reach
Represent FreshDirect with professionalism and enthusiasm, providing candidates with accurate, compelling information about the company and role
Maintain responsiveness and provide timely follow-up to candidates, Hiring Managers, and internal stakeholders
Support the development and continuous refinement of FreshDirect’s recruiting processes, tools, and best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
Minimum 5+ years of recruiting experience within a corporate and/or agency environment; corporate recruiting experience is strongly preferred
Experience working in a fast-paced HR or Talent Acquisition setting
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with leaders at all organizational levels
Advanced interviewing, assessment, and active listening skills
Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging passive candidates across various functions
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting platforms, and Microsoft Office; experience with creative and modern sourcing strategies
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and time-sensitive tasks
Solid understanding of employment laws and general HR compliance practices
Demonstrated leadership courage, initiative, and a willingness to take ownership of outcomes
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and influence skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and high-volume needs
