Platte Valley Companies is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist II responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of electronic payment services. This role requires strong attention to detail and collaboration across departments to maintain compliance and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

1. Essential Functions

A) ACH Configuration & Support

I. Build and Monitor ACH files for accuracy and compliance with NACHA rules

Ii. Assist with troubleshooting ACH exceptions and customer inquiries

B) Wire Transfer Backup & Support

I. Serve as a backup for wire processing and verification

Ii. Ensure adherence to security protocols and regulatory requirements

C) Bill Pay Assistance

I. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues promptly

D) Cross-Functional Collaboration

I. Work closely with Data, Treasury, Compliance, and IT teams to support payment operations

2. Compliance

A) Maintain audit, security, compliance and regulatory standards

B) Stay informed of procedural changes and process improvements

3. Accreditation

A) Maintain knowledge of NACHA and regulatory guidelines

B) Demonstrate commitment to professional development, including pursuit of AAP accreditation within 18-24 months
