Responsibilities

Manage and oversee water and wastewater engineering projects from planning through design and construction, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget
In coordination with the District Board and staff, develop and implement long-range plans
Lead the development of annual Capital Improvement Plans and oversee the execution of annual capital improvement projects
Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors to achieve project goals and ensure compliance
Prepare and review technical documents, including proposals, reports, and contract specifications
Represent district clients as the District Engineer, attending monthly board meetings to provide updates and professional guidance
Develop solutions to engineering challenges and oversee operational improvements for water and wastewater infrastructure
Support business development efforts, including proposals, client interactions, and marketing coordination

Civil EngineeringEnvironmental EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseWater/Wastewater EngineeringBusiness DevelopmentProject ManagementCommunication SkillsProblem-Solving Skills

Required

BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related engineering field
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado
12+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, with a focus on project management
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources for multiple projects
Experience with business development and sales
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with experience representing clients
