Responsibilities
Draft, review, and edit real estate contracts and lead contract negotiations on a wide variety of real estate matters
Identify diverse transactional and operational legal issues originating from cutting-edge strategic initiatives
Craft novel legal solutions to drive business growth
Deliver legal advice to the company by providing clients with an informed understanding of legal rights, obligations, and risks, enabling the client to make informed decisions
Counsel officers and associates on alternative legal and business strategies
Collaborate with various legal, compliance, and business partners to timely deliver cross-functional projects
Partner with compliance and litigation partners to mitigate trending risk
Evaluate and assist with the development of standard operating procedures, policies, guides, training, and communications
Monitor legislative and regulatory developments related to real estate matters
Value diversity and cultivate an environment of professional respect
Qualification
Required
Law degree from an accredited law school and 4 years' experience in law
License to practice law in at least one state
