Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety
Perform light maintenance on equipment as required to ensure optimal performance
Adhere to all safety regulations to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
Submit daily reports detailing equipment status, work progress, and any issues encountered
Operate a diverse range of heavy equipment to support project needs and ensure efficient completion of tasks
Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualification

Heavy equipment operationBasic mechanical knowledgePEC certificateHigh school diploma

Required

Highschool Diploma or GED required
3+ years of operating heavy equipment experience required
Basic mechanical knowledge and skills
Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
Working outside most of the time with potential exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures
Working in manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environments
Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels
Safely working on limited working surfaces
The use of X-ray machines
Use of respirator if position requires
Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
Exposure to areas with limited visibility
Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time for required tasks
Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day
Potential or periodic amounts of time for the following: Sit, stoop, crawl, stand, and kneel
If driving is required, a valid driver license and proof of insurability is required

PEC certificate holders are preferred
