They are seeking an experienced Associate Underwriter to review and analyze new merchant/client application documents, determine credit worthiness, and present underwriting packages to sponsor banks while following company policies to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

Review new merchant applications using multiple underwriting tools

Verify and confirm information provided on the merchant application

Analyze underwriting documentation in intense detail to ensure documents are valid

Communicate with sales enablement/coordinator on pending and missing application information, to ensure all submitted applications are fully completed with accurate information

Perform additional duties as assigned

Excellent skills in MS Office

Experience in credit analysis

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment with a willingness to support others
