Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Platform Strategy
Define and enforce governance models, policy frameworks, and operating standards
Establish and maintain GHAS (GitHub Advanced Security) baselines and secure-by-default templates
Design organization-wide branch protection, CODEOWNERS, and repository compliance strategies
DevSecOps & CI/CD Architecture
Architect and standardize CI/CD frameworks and migration strategies from legacy tools to GitHub Actions
Design secure, reusable pipeline templates and shared runners strategy (GitHub-hosted and self-hosted)
Define environment promotion models, artifact versioning, and release governance patterns
Operational Excellence & ScalabilityDesign repository scalability and performance standards, including Git LFS architecture and monorepo/multirepo strategies

Required

Deep hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise administration and architecture
Strong expertise in DevSecOps practices, pipeline security, and secure SDLC
Proven experience designing enterprise-grade CI/CD frameworks
Strong knowledge of identity and access management, SSO/SCIM integrations, and RBAC models
Experience with audit, compliance, and governance in regulated enterprise environments

Preferred

GitHub Administration / GitHub Advanced Security certifications
Cloud Architect certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect)
DevSecOps / Kubernetes / Terraform certifications (nice to have)
