Scalable Systems is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Field Engineer to support documentation updates and electrical verification for ongoing projects. The role involves updating Cause and Effect Diagrams, performing field verifications, and ensuring compliance with project standards.

Responsibilities

Consolidate, review, and update Cause and Effect Diagrams for multiple Cowboy CDP phases

Perform field verification to ensure current site conditions align with design documentation

Interface with GP (Global Projects) team to ensure all updates follow project standards

Support audit readiness by validating completeness and accuracy of C&E documentation

Update remaining 30 panel drawings (70 total; 40 already completed)

Perform light field verification to confirm wiring, I/O mapping, and panel configuration

Ensure all inputs and outputs (I/Os) are correctly captured in CAD drawings

Update and reflect removal of ESD push buttons in all 70 panel documents

Deliver updated CAD files and updated PDFs for documentation control

Conduct field verification for the Cowboy facility’s electrical one-line diagrams

Validate naming conventions, labeling, and equipment identification

Ensure all field components match official documentation

Required

Experience in I&C field engineering, electrical field verification, or similar industrial facility support roles

Strong ability to read, interpret, and update engineering documentation such as Cause & Effect Diagrams, Panel Wiring Diagrams, and One-line Electrical Diagrams

Familiarity with CAD tools for updating drawings and producing revised documentation

Strong communication skills to coordinate with project engineering teams

Ability to work independently in field environments and ensure documentation accuracy
