The West Coast Correspondent Mortgage Processor will act as the primary contact for Correspondent lenders, manage loan documentation, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the loan process.

Responsibilities
Primary point of contact with our Correspondent lender after loan submission
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on the status of loan reviews and address any outstanding items
Obtain documentation needed for initial and final loan approval
Manage the Estimated Closing Date throughout the process
Identify and communicate deficiencies or discrepancies in loan files and work with stakeholders to resolve them
Send applicable Notices and Counter Offers to the Correspondent
Work closely with Account Executive, Underwriter, and Correspondent throughout the process
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in mortgage lending, due diligence, or a related field
Understanding of mortgage loan products, non-QM loans, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and deadlines
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset
Attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and resolve loan file discrepancies
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
