Providing and supporting classroom instruction for the Cosmetology program

Demonstrating and applying a thorough and accurate knowledge of the teaching field and discipline

Louisiana State Board LicenseCosmetology ExperienceHigh School DiplomaOffice Equipment ProficiencyCommunication Skills

Required

High School Diploma or equivalency required

Must possess a current and active Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology Instructor License with relevant certificate

Two (2) years of occupational experience as a licensed cosmetologist

Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls

Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine

Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 10 pounds

Ability to stand for over 75% of the time
