BakerHostetler is seeking a senior-level tax credit finance associate to join its nationally recognized Tax Credit Finance team. The role involves managing tax credit transactions, drafting and negotiating legal documents, and conducting due diligence.

Responsibilities

Handle all facets of a tax credit transaction from leading or assisting on initial structuring to reviewing financial projections and negotiating business and legal issues

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various tax equity and loan documents and opinions

Conducting necessary due diligence

Required

7-8 years of relevant law firm experience focused on historic tax credits and new markets tax credits

Ability to handle all facets of a tax credit transaction from leading or assisting on initial structuring to reviewing financial projections and negotiating business and legal issues

Work includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various tax equity and loan documents and opinions and conducting necessary due diligence, as well as overall project management

A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school
