Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst

The Sales Incentive Compensation Analyst is responsible for designing and analyzing sales incentive plans, building reports and dashboards, and conducting performance and effectiveness analysis to support sales leadership and strategy alignment.

Responsibilities
Help build reports and dashboards (in either Xactly or Tableau) on sales performance, compensation metrics, attainment rates, and payout trends for sales leadership and executive leadership team
Model, analyze, and assess the effectiveness and financial impact of current and proposed compensation plan designs, making data-driven recommendations for improvements
Conduct deep-dive analysis on specific compensation components, as requested by senior leadership
Assist in the design and financial modeling of new or revised sales compensation plans (including commission structures, bonus programs, and SPIFFs) to ensure alignment with business strategy and budget
Prepare clear, concise sales compensation plan documents, policies, and training materials for the sales force
Support market research and competitive benchmarking to ensure compensation programs are externally competitive and internally equitable
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and modeling when appropriate
Assist with the annual merit process
Assist with broad based compensation projects as needed
Develop guidelines, processes and toolkits ensuring consistency in processes managing diverse sales compensation plans
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
2-5 years' experience working in Finance, Data Analytics or Sales Compensation
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling)
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and/or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Preferred
Prior experience with Xactly and/or day to day administration is preferable
Experience with a Sales Compensation/ICM software (e.g., Xactly)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong quantitative and analytical background
Proven organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
