Responsibilities

Drive new business growth by acquiring and developing relationships with national retail clients and target prospect accounts
Serve as the primary sales contact for assigned retail and national accounts
Build and maintain relationships across key departments such as procurement, store development, branding, corporate real estate, facilities, and sustainability/energy
Leverage existing customer relationships to identify and pursue new retail business opportunities
Own total revenue responsibility for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with monthly quotas and year-over-year growth targets
Collaborate with Business Development to respond to RFPs/RFQs from national and retail clients
Partner with Marketing to create tailored collateral and conduct in-person presentations and retail-focused meetings
Work closely with Operations to ensure quality, communication, and service delivery meet client SLAs
Proactively manage and resolve high-level client issues, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 5 years in Sales, Business Development, or Account/Program Management, preferably with experience in retail and national account environments
Proven ability to open new accounts and build deep, multi-level relationships within national retail organizations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills and the ability to produce high quality error free work
Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving capabilities needed to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong sense of professionalism and courtesy
Computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe products, experience with Salesforce is a plus
Travel will be required as necessary, 10-20%
