Senior Director, AI Solutions Sales

Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Relationship Building
Cultivate strong, face-to-face executive relationships across IT and business units
Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on AI/ML strategies that yield measurable business outcomes
AI/ML & Data Solution Sales
Work with the sales portfolios to develop strategy around targeted AI and ML plays
Develop account-specific sales strategies, including targeted AI/ML sales plays
Conduct deep discovery to understand complex challenges and architect sophisticated AI solutions
Guide clients through their AI/ML journey to enable business and technical outcomes driving ROI and long-term value
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Communicate client insights to influence roadmaps and ensure alignment with market needs
Track AI/ML sales performance, and leverage data to continuously refine strategy and our GTM approach
Solution Development & Commercial Execution
Develop deal shapes and structures for the broader team such that they can write and execute Statements of Work for AI/ML engagements
Navigate and close complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
Provide executive-level insights that articulate the value of AI, machine learning, data platforms, and analytics solutions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of overall professional experience, including 5+ years in AI, data, and analytics presales or solution selling
7+ years of enterprise sales experience consistently exceeding revenue targets
Expertise in selling solutions leveraging one or more cloud ecosystems: Azure, AWS, GCP, including platforms such as Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, SageMaker, Vertex AI, Gemini, and related agentic AI technologies
Strong knowledge of modern data ecosystems including Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Informatica, and cloud data warehousing concepts
Proven ability to architect and position AI/ML solutions tied to business outcomes
Experience preparing and negotiating SOWs, navigating complex procurement cycles, and managing multi-stakeholder engagements
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and present to C-suite executives
Experience in large-scale consulting, data transformation programs, and enterprise AI adoption
Familiarity with P&L management and operating in matrixed organizations
Preferred
Experience in professional services, solution sales, or overlay sales models
Strong track record selling transformative AI or analytics initiatives to large enterprises
Certifications in AI/ML, enterprise architecture, or advanced cloud platforms
MS, MBA, or equivalent advanced degree
