Responsibilities

Understand, review and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications including single line diagrams, schematics, and wiring prints
Plan and layout of the project including planned installation material take-off quantities and tool needs based on the project schedule
Plan the project’s material, equipment, and labor needs for timely arrival to and from the site
Install and terminate conduit, cable trays, and wiring for power and control systems inside Control Buildings and E-houses
Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules
Monitor progress schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles
Establish and implement prefab project specific tasks
Mount, connect, and wire electrical equipment including switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, VFDs, PLC panels, lighting systems, and HVAC controls
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and company-specific installation standards
Perform functional testing and assist in factory acceptance tests (FATs) and site acceptance tests (SATs)
Leadership capacity to mentor apprentices and ensure safety and quality on the job site
Efficiency and compliance by applying experience to execute work in line with NEC codes and OSHA standards including safety policies, lockout/tagout, and arc flash protection
Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a 'Can-Do' positive attitude
Actively contributes to a positive team environment
Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours
Ability to work overtime when needed
Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager

Required

Current state licensed journeyman license
Demonstrates Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality, code-compliant installations on time
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Office, including Excel
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
Ability to travel offsite for product commissioning
Valid driver's license and clean MVR
