Production Technician - 3rd Shift

Responsibilities
Set-up, calibrate, configure, and operate equipment according to (SOP’s)
Performs regular maintenance checks & repairs on automated systems
Inspects and replaces parts as needed, ensuring machinery operates at peak efficiency
Routine diagnostic checks are performed on automated systems to detect malfunctions
Performs soldering, hand assembly, rework, and packaging of parts and assemblies
This role regularly maintains, monitors, and inspects electronic equipment, providing technical support and maintaining accurate records
Reads and follows product specifications, blueprints, diagrams, and applying standard operating procedures (SOPs) to set up and operate production equipment efficiently
Assist in quality control processes to ensure final products meet quality standards
Diagnose, report, and resolve problems with products, methods, and equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment that complies with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards
Accurately record and report production data
Manage and use maintenance data software
Organize parts lists and a spare parts system to proactively prepare service equipment
Complete qualification documentation on machine, procedures, and processes
Work closely with all manufacturing personnel and provide technical support & training
Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and enhance productivity
Supports Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing practices
Follow procedures associated with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in a technical field such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial technology or another related field; Or 1 – 3 years of relevant work experience with high school diploma
Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically similar industry production work
Knowledge of industry standards, latest technological advancements, and safety protocols
Certified Production Technician (CPT) certification
Knowledge of ISO 9001
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma
Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment
Able to lift at least 50 pounds
Able to use pallet jack with 300-pound load
Able to use portable staircase and climb to 12-foot heights
Able to carry 20 pound/ 3 cubic feet boxes up and down portable staircase
Able to push 4-wheeled cart with 100-pound load
Able to work a 6-day week, if required
Able to stand or sit continually for four hours without break
Able to travel to offsite locations including German Headquarters for periods of up to 2 to 3 weeks
