Responsibilities
Source and purchase materials, supplies, and services at competitive prices
Negotiate vendor contracts and maintain strong supplier relationships
Prepare and process purchase orders in compliance with company policies
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
Record and maintain accurate inventory data in ERP systems
Report discrepancies, damaged goods, and coordinate returns
Organize storage areas and ensure proper material handling
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast inventory needs
Coordinate with project management, as needed, to handle outbound shipping using carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and other freight services
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in purchasing, receiving, or inventory management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in warehouse conditions
Preferred
Associate's degree
Experience with SAP
Experience with shipping software and carrier platforms (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager)
