Use the AP Manual of Style to produce and implement standards for headlines, abbreviations, punctuation, etc., which shall be applied to Criterion articles
Review articles and/or assign to Section Editors articles before publication
Work on fixed content deadlines, after which content will be reviewed by Editor-in-Chief before publication
Oversee and communicate with Section Editors
Qualification
Required
Must be a registered La Sierra Student
Must complete Student Authorization Form with Silvia Stenner (Office of Student Life)
Must have worked as a Criterion Section Editor for at least one quarter
Use the AP Manual of Style to produce and implement standards for headlines, abbreviations, punctuation, etc
Review articles and/or assign to Section Editors articles before publication
Work on fixed content deadlines, after which content will be reviewed by Editor-in-Chief before publication
Oversee and communicate with Section Editors
Editors are not to exceed more than eight hours clocked in per-pay period (2-week pay period)
Complete HR standard application
Upload documents, resume, and writing sample required
Preferred
Writing sample should be a non-creative piece
Something written for a class is preferable
Writing sample should be roughly 2-3 pages
Writing sample cannot be something that was written for Criterion with the editorial help of the Criterion staff
