Field Services Engineer (Print Inspection Systems)

AVT is a leader in print inspection and quality assurance solutions for the packaging and labels industry. They are seeking a Field Services Engineer to provide technical support, install, and maintain advanced industrial camera systems while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and remote support to customers across North America

Help install, maintain, and repair AVT’s advanced industrial camera systems at customer sites (mainly printing companies)

Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Assist in scheduling service visits, answering technical questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Support remote diagnostics for system and application issues

Maintain accurate service records and follow-up actions in our system

Follow safety and quality procedures during all fieldwork

Required

Previous experience with working on large machinery or capital equipment

Solid knowledge in Electronics and Mechanics

Technically curious and eager to learn hands-on skills in electronics, mechanics, and computer systems

Comfortable using tools and working with industrial equipment

Able to communicate clearly with customers and teammates

Willing to travel frequently across North America

Fluent English

Positive, reliable, and eager to grow in a technical support career

Preferred

Opto-Mechanics is a big plus
