Responsibilities
Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the accounting, reporting and general ledger structure
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
Assist the Controller in the daily banking requirements. Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner
The Accounting Supervisor will ensure all accounting (AP, AR, FA, GL, etc.) activities are completed in accurate and timely manner
Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and procedures
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire your team
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
The ability to work in a highly automated environment
Team-oriented with the ability to effectively collaborate with senior management, customers, and vendors
Willingness to be 'hands-on' to accomplish the workload when necessary
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Preferred
Fluency with English & Spanish
