Responsibilities
Serve as a collaborating physician for nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) under a formal collaborative agreement
Complete chart reviews in accordance with state requirements (typically 10%)
Provide clinical oversight and consultation as needed
Conduct periodic check-ins with NP/PA collaborators
Maintain flexible fractional hours, setting your own schedule—typically ~1 hour/month per collaboration
Qualification
Required
MD or DO with an active U.S. medical license
Board certification (when applicable)
Clean practice record (e.g. no past disciplinary action against your medical license or other charges)
Strong communication skills and comfort working with technology-enabled care teams
A commitment to high-quality, compliant, patient-centered care
Preferred
Experience with NP/PA collaboration
