Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility for the day today to supervision for the efficient, orderly, accurate and timely registration of patients who receive service from a Summa Health System facility

Coordinates with physicians, clinical supervisors and external sites following hospital policies and procedures to assure proper placement of patients

Responsible for employee scheduling and ensuring appropriate staffing levels

On-call Monday Thursday

Required

Post high school level course in business, healthcare, or closely related field of study

Three (3) years experience in one of the following areas: patient access, medical records, insurance claim processing, customer service, or related public contact, patient accounting, hospital or medical office work
