Engineering Manager, Platform Services
Calendly is a rapidly growing company that provides a scheduling platform used by millions. They are seeking an Engineering Manager to mentor and grow their engineering teams while focusing on building a best-in-class scheduling experience for users.

Responsibilities
Hiring engineers to build out both new and existing squads for the company, with oversight on all team members that get hired onto the squad
Solving problems for our largest and most valuable customers
Working on an initiative that is the growth engine for Calendly’s future success
Coaching, mentoring, and onboarding new engineering team members
Ensuring the career development, satisfaction, and productivity of the engineers on your team
Identifying future technical needs and creating plans to meet them
Providing feedback and guidance to help us continuously grow and scale
Qualification
Required
2+ years experience managing a team of Software Engineers
5+ years of overall development experience (you will be specifically managing a team that owns services and using Golang and RoR)
Deep proficiency with web application development and SaaS
Experience planning and leading development efforts on large projects
Previous experience leading and mentoring teams and driving them toward big goals with consistent execution
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to succinctly explain deep technical concepts
Experience leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Previous experience working within a balanced engineering and product team
Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours
Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time
