Responsibilities
Maintain financial and distribution records for third-party capital raisers’ fund of fund entities and corporate accounting records
Onboard new fund of fund clients, including invoicing and collecting payment, and setting up final analytics
Deliver financial records and cap tables to tax preparers for K-1 delivery to investors
Assist the corporate accounting team with various projects and preparation of month-end financial statements
Monitor and review the work performed by staff accountants or interns
Identify and investigate reconciling issues and provide resolutions
Work with the corporate accounting and tax departments to ensure timely delivery of K-1’s
Qualification
Required
BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related field of study
Financial record maintenance and detailed documentation for 200+ third-party entities
Continuous outreach and communication with the managers of our clients
Ability to monitor and review the work performed by staff accountants or interns
Identify and investigate reconciling issues and provide resolutions to correct errors
Work with the corporate accounting department as well as the tax department to ensure timely delivery of K-1's to investors
Ad-hoc projects and support of the corporate accounting records as needed
Ability to proactively manage multiple clients, following up on open items and outstanding questions
General ledger accounting experience
Detail oriented, organized, and an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Public accounting experience preferred, with 2-5 years of experience
