Responsibilities
Build, calibrate, and maintain forecasting models across all fulfillment services
Own the long-term fulfillment network plan and financial forecast to balance supply, demand, and capacity needs
Conduct root cause analysis of volume deviations and partner with Operations to identify opportunities
Develop scenario plans for changes to operating cost and contracts, demand uncertainty, capacity constraints, and transportation lanes to optimize our fulfillment strategy
Lead cross-functional S&OP discussions with senior leadership to align business plans and future investment with fulfillment network capabilities
Partner directly with our merchants to solve challenges and proactively find opportunities to improve cost, service, and support the growth of their business
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Analytics, Business, or related field
3+ years of experience in supply chain management, forecasting, demand planning, or fulfillment operations
Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel; strong SQL for data extraction/analysis; familiarity with BI/visualization tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to drive decision-making across functions
A 'compliance first' attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry
