Cyber Security Manager

In this role, you will supervise the cybersecurity function, leveraging your experience in incident response, risk assessment, and team management to enhance the organization's security posture.

Responsibilities

Security Operations Center (SOC) -Deep knowledge of Incident Response lifecycle (detection, containment, eradication, recovery)
Proficiency with SIEM tools
Vulnerability Management - Experience managing a full VM lifecycle: identification (scanning tools like Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7), prioritization (using CVSS or risk scoring), and coordinating remediation/patch management across IT teams
Risk Assessment & Governance - Proven ability to conduct security risk assessments (qualitative and quantitative). Familiarity with major security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls). Experience with GRC processes and tools
Insider Threat - Knowledge of Insider Threat Program components (e.g., detection, mitigation, policy). Understanding of behavioral indicators and technical controls (e.g., DLP and user activity monitoring). Ability to work with HR, Legal, and Counterintelligence
Security Awareness - Experience developing, implementing, and measuring effective, role-based Security Awareness Training programs
People Management: Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and developing security analysts and specialists. Must be able to manage performance, morale, and burnout within high-stress teams
Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute a multi-year security roadmap for the managed domains that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives and risk tolerance
Stakeholder Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical risks into clear, business-focused language for executive leadership
Incident & Crisis Leadership: Demonstrated ability to act as the Incident Leader during major security incidents, managing cross-functional teams and external communications under pressure
Process Improvement: Experience establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics and driving continuous maturity in security operations

Required

Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field
4+ years of progressively responsible experience in cybersecurity, including at least 1+ years in a lead or supervisory role managing a team
Deep knowledge of Incident Response lifecycle (detection, containment, eradication, recovery)
Proficiency with SIEM tools
Experience managing a full VM lifecycle: identification (scanning tools like Nessus, Qualys, or Rapid7), prioritization (using CVSS or risk scoring), and coordinating remediation/patch management across IT teams
