Responsibilities
Accurately forecast projected monthly and annual sales volume and margin contributions
Continuously monitor and analyze overall business plan and progress in meeting goals and adjust activities
Manage expenditure of financial resources in a fiscally responsible manner through use of Purina’s Trade Management Tool
Assess any customer’s competitive position, behaviors, and strategies, and leverage an alignment with strategic goals to maximize sustainable sales, share, and profit growth
Lead the development of annual customized customer “go to market” programs
Work cross-functionally within Purina: Customer Account Managers, Retail Sales Representatives, Finance Supply Chain, Market Development Organization, Order Revenue Management, Shopper Marketing, Analytics, and Human Resources
Continuous improvement of the performance management process with each direct report
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, or category development within the CPG Industry
High school diploma with 9+ years of experience in account management, business development, or category development within the CPG industry
Preferred
1+ years of people leadership experience
