General Electric is looking to expand its Wind Financial Project Specialist team. The Financial Analyst will manage cost and schedule mobilizations and demobilizations for global projects, ensuring accurate budget reporting and project execution.

Responsibilities

Initiate and manage Estimate at Completion (EAC) for each project
Update weekly with costs, Time & Expense & purchase order status and billing
Lead weekly Estimate at Completion (EAC) calls; coordinate with project and site manager
Actively participant in weekly project reviews
Maintain current manpower plan and actuals
Compile and/or manage project and budget related reports as requested, including, but not limited to budget submissions, commissioning deferral analysis, project accruals, actual vs estimate labor usage, inter-company billing, cost moves/transfers and labor cost reporting
Manage the purchase order process for project execution through the Oracle purchasing system (i.e. labor, support services and indirect needs). To include entering and managing purchase requisitions, receiving on POs, coordinating PO amendments and increases, working with buyers and sourcing
Reconcile, compile and submit project close-out forms and documentation; to include working with internal and external vendors to get invoices billed, closing purchase orders, reconciling invoices and updating EAC tool with actual expenditures from ledger
Learn and maintain knowledge of GE systems: Isupplier, Oracle, CORA,Sales Force and PowerMax
Grow knowledge of used applications: Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
Ensure client expectations and service levels are being met
Act as primary liaison with the Client, in absence of the Service Manager

Required

Advanced proficiency in Excel, MS Office, and Word
Project & budget-oriented mindset
Critical attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work and communicate with all levels of staff
Proven strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Must be self-motivated and take initiative
Must have the ability to apply educated judgement in budget execution

Preferred

Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a financial, purchasing or sourcing based position with heavy Excel usage preferred
Experience in Perceptive, APSS, Oracle, Clear Orbit, IBS, Sales Force, Perceptive or PowerMax is a plus
