Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis efficiently, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
Clean, structure, and analyze data using SAS and Stata (and Excel as needed)
Build damages models and clear visualizations in Excel
Manage, review, and analyze case documents, maintaining strong organization and confidentiality
Independently identify, gather, and document data from credible public sources
Prepare concise written memoranda summarizing methods, results, and key takeaways
Quality-check work product for accuracy, consistency, and reproducibility
Support report and exhibit development, including drafting tables/figures and formatting to team standards
Perform fact-checking and backup preparation for reports/exhibits, ensuring every statement is supported and traceable
Qualification
Required
B.A. or M.A. in Economics (or closely related field)
Demonstrated interest in, and experience working with, large, messy, and complex datasets
Advanced Excel skills, including use of complex formulas and structured workbooks
Programming experience in SAS and Stata
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to apply core statistical concepts in practice
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to present data effectively through tables, charts, and concise summaries
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a track record of seeing projects through to completion
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
Strong commitment to accuracy, quality control, and documentation, with exceptional attention to detail
