Responsibilities
Configure and maintain SAP S/4HANA applications and maintenance
Manage SAP HANA database operations, including performance tuning and identifying configuration modifications
Ensure system monitoring, health checks, and proactive issue resolution
Configure, integrate, and maintain system landscapes for Development, QA, and Production environments
Coordinate system refreshes, client copies, and transport management
Support integration between SAP S/4HANA and other systems (e.g., BW/4HANA, SAP Cloud, non-SAP systems)
Ensure documentation of all integration and interfaces are maintained (Protocols/ Source and Target systems, frequency, and data accuracy)
Manage user access, roles, and authorizations in coordination with security teams
Ensure compliance with IT security and audit standards
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies
Analyze and tune SAP application performance (HANA DB, ABAP, Fiori)
Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to optimize connectivity and system performance
Provide technical support for SAP-related incidents and service requests
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, architecture, and processes
Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance windows as required
Qualification
Required
Ability to obtain a Public Trust
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–7 years of experience in SAP Basis or Systems Engineering roles
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA installations, migrations, and upgrades
Strong understanding of HANA database administration and Linux environments
Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Solution Manager, and Transport Management System (TMS)
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP Cloud Platform is a plus
SAP S/4HANA, HANA DB, SUSE Linux/Red Hat, SAP GUI, SAP NetWeaver, Fiori Launchpad
System monitoring tools (SAP EarlyWatch, SAP HANA Cockpit, SolMan, or third-party tools)
Scripting (Shell, Python, or PowerShell) for automation tasks
Knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
Preferred
SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA or S/4HANA
ITIL Foundation Certification
Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) – optional but advantageous
