Compliance Coordinator
Taft Law is a full-service law firm with a collaborative approach and advanced technological resources. They are seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support their Compliance Counsel and Client Compliance Counsel in ensuring adherence to legal and client requirements through various compliance-related tasks.

Responsibilities
Maintain and monitor the city, county, and state registration tracking calendars that have been developed by Compliance Counsel for all Taft entities
Complete and submit ongoing city, county and state annual reports, license renewals, and other filings to maintain the good standing of all Taft entities
Monitor employee update emails for new attorneys in Florida; complete and submit license applications and/or change applications as applicable
Ensure that the utility bills for all Taft locations are properly uploaded monthly into our vendor’s database
Ensure that Taft’s Smartsheet is updated monthly with all designated business travel data
Maintain and monitor the compliance calendar for Taft Infrastructure Advisors, LLC
Assist in completing city, county, and state regulatory research
Assist in the creation of training PowerPoints based on Policies and Procedures developed by Compliance Counsel
Complete other administrative tasks as assigned
Gather new and updated client requirements documents (Outside Counsel Guidelines) from e-billing platforms; ensure review by General Counsel’s Office
Complete brief forms, which require basic firm operation and banking information; compile documentation needed to assist with clients’ vendor setup requests
Prepare and monitor a timeline of expected incoming client compliance requests
Complete other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficient in other software including Litera, Kofax, DocuSign and iManage
Preferred
Background in compliance, including managing licensing processes
Conducting regulatory research
Responding to client questionnaires and other similar client requests
