Systems Engineer – Technical Documentation

Responsibilities

Creating detailed and executable test procedures for complex hardware
Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, JIRA, or other requirements management and documentation software
Knowledge of the fundamental principles and practices of systems engineering
Ability to analyze requirements and test procedures comprehensively
Proficiency in tracing requirements through the development lifecycle
Ability to clearly and effectively document technical information
Meticulousness in ensuring accuracy and completeness in documentation
Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
Ability to manage and organize multiple documents and tasks efficiently
Ability to identify and resolve issues in documentation and test processes

Required

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field (STEM)
Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required

Agile experience preferred
Test Procedure Development: Experience in creating detailed and executable test procedures for complex hardware
Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, JIRA, or other requirements management and documentation software
Understanding of Systems Engineering Principles: Knowledge of the fundamental principles and practices of systems engineering
