Purchasing Analyst - Intern (PT)

Passaic County Community College is seeking a Purchasing Analyst Intern who will perform a wide range of administrative and data analysis tasks related to the procurement of goods and services under the supervision of the Director of Purchasing. This part-time role involves data analysis, market research, and administrative duties to support the purchasing department.

Responsibilities

Perform data analysis, data processing as well as other clerical and routine duties
Perform market research, price analyses and related tasks
Solicit pricing, quotes and proposals and perform related analysis
Perform troubleshooting, research transactions and resolve both internal and external inquiries
Administrate various online procurement platforms
Maintains record and files, to include electronic databases
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Current college student or recent college graduate
Zero to two (0-2) years of related experience
Excellent math and communication skills
Proficiency with MS works, Excel, and ERP systems
Able to work well with staff and students in a cooperative and professional manner

Preferred

Supply chain, finance or business discipline preferred
