Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of hydraulic systems engineers and designers
Manage projects from concept through final implementation, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met
Provide technical guidance on complex hydraulic system design, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
Drive continuous improvement in design standards, processes, and overall product quality
Collaborate with leadership, manufacturing, and customer teams to align engineering deliverables with business objectives
Ensure proper resource allocation and project documentation throughout the engineering lifecycle
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
8+ years of hydraulic system design experience, including leadership or management roles
Proficiency with CAD software and hydraulic modeling/design tools
Deep understanding of pumps, valves, manifolds, cylinders, and control systems
Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
PE license strongly preferred
